Is cosmetics ( bath and body) a recession proof business?

I am on the verge of starting a turn key all natural bath and body collection business. I was wondering if it was a bad time to do this because of the recession? I really have a strong intuition that it will work, and it's now or never. But I wondered is the cosmetic industry a recession proof industry? where can I go to find out more info on forecast for small business?Is cosmetics ( bath and body) a recession proof business?
