Can you bring cosmetics onto a plane from stanstead airport?

Not sure if the ban has been lifted but when I went to Gatwick, I had to hand in my vaseline lip balm before going through departures but could then buy it in Boots on the other side to take on the plane!! Thought it was a bit extreme and a waste of a 拢1 but there you go! You might need to check with your airline for more info! Can you bring cosmetics onto a plane from stanstead airport?
Yes, providing they are placed in a small sealable plastic seethrough bag (they provide them just before the entrance through security), and are scanned separate to your hand luggage. All the liquids need to be in containers no bigger than 100ml, otherwise they need to be checked in. This container must fit into the plastic bag provided. So if you have things like foundation and lipgloss, place it into the plastic bag.Can you bring cosmetics onto a plane from stanstead airport?
You can check this link for the latest situation regarding liquids.

you need a transparent resealable plastic bag to carry them in. You must not have any flammable cosmetic products or any liquids more than 100mls. Pack any perfume in your hold luggage.
