Ive asked them for some pigment samples before and she looked at me like I was crazy and said that they don't do it and that her boss would go mad. But on here loads of Americans are going on about the samples they've got from MAC.Why don't MAC cosmetics give out free samples in the UK?
Im not sure why they dont do it out in the UK, but in the states you have to buy something, or maybe show proof that youve bought something before (like knowing MAC makeup by name, or at the present time, be wearing mac makeup) There makeup is expensive, so if you show them that you have the money and that your not trying to take there items free, they will be more then willing to let you try...I usually go back and buy most of the products I sampled with the same counter worker.Why don't MAC cosmetics give out free samples in the UK?
Some counters do and some don't. Also you have to buy something to get samples. A pigment sample is worth about 2-3 pounds, so if you ask for a few it adds up and they are just giving it away.

Go to estee lauder, they give out samples
