What is so special about the MAC cosmetics? ?

Can anybody tell the difference between MAC and regular branded make-up, and where can I find MAC products?

I would say that is the main reason why it is popular. Also because of it's very high reputation in quality and celebrity endorsements.





In the US - There are free-standing MAC stores usually located in malls and there are MAC counters loacted in Hudson Belk.





In Canada - There are free-standing MAC loactions but most often only located in Toronto. They are also very commonly loacted in The Bay loactions as a MAC counter.What is so special about the MAC cosmetics? ?
I actually just bought two MAC eye shadows and the studio fix face powder. I got them from Macy's-- They are right there in the makeup section along with all of the others or you can go on the website to see if there is a MAC store close by. I love love the face powder. It doesn't feel heavy on me or anything and they have loads of beautiful eye shadow/ lip glosses that I like.





I realized a few days ago that I was actually spending $2 more on Urban Decay eye shadows, so I was really happy about it. I think they are just as good as those ones. The makeup definitely goes on easier than other brands I have used also. My suggestion would be to try one of the eye shadows or a lip gloss and then see how you like it from there.
I am a MAC user but I dont use all of their products becasue some of it you can go cheaper on. There loose powder and shadows are really good cuz u get high impact. a little goes a long way. It also depends on your experience with make up application. If you just started wearing makeup it would be a wast to be using mac on yourself because u wont get the full effect. if you are good at doing designs or color combos with your shadow or if you know to use a blush or glitter to accentuate your look then mac is for u. Loreal HIP is good too but some of thier products cost just as much as MAC and dont get as good an effect. go to sephora. find a chick with good makeup and ask what she uses becasue very few of htem use MAC.
You can find MAC at the MAC stores, or in Macy's (it's one of those makeup counters)


MAC cosmetics is top of the line, and we all swear by it because it's the best thing on the face of this earth.


The downfall? You kind of need to be rich to afford it all the time.


A one ounce bottle of foundation goes for about $30.
MAC products are much better quality %26amp; richly pigmented makeup. They are more expensive because they last longer %26amp; you won't have to buy them as often. Buy the best of the basics and fill in the rest with more affordable options if you want to try it but are on a budget.
MAC is the pioneer of eyeshadow and eye pencils, but not the rest of the make up.





So don`t hesitate if you want to buy an eyeshadow or an eye pencil from them.

If you mean regualr like drug store or walmart? It is more pigments so you dont have to use as much. It seems like you pay a lot for a small thing of make up but i last a lot longer than the cheap stuff.
i guess mac is more professional
